When I received Christina & Santo inquiry through Instagram and Santo and I had our first phone call, I knew they were the right couple for me. I got excited to hear their plans to have a Yale University engagement session and their wedding day details. I had never photographed at Yale University nor I had ever been there, so right after our phone call, I started doing some research about weddings in New Haven, CT where Yale University is located and see what to expect; especially if it was even possible to photograph there. Some private campuses or even public campuses, building and park do not allow photography or they ask you to pay for a permit. What I’ve found really excited me, not only Yale University engagement sessions are permitted (well, I didn’t find any restrictions about photography, so don’t ask, don’t tell!) but the grounds and Yale’s architecture was just AMAZING! So I called Santo right away and said Yale University engagement session? Yes, please!
There’s just way too much to share about Christina & Santo’s Yale University engagement session.
They knew they wanted to use the building’s architecture as much as possible, so we made a plan so we could walk to a few different locations and get the photographs they were looking for.
We started the shoot by the library building and walked from there, their engagement session lasted around two hours. Engagement sessions usually last one hour, but we were having so much fun discovering amazing places that we lost track of time.
Christina and Santo will get married next fall at the Gallaher Mansion wedding venue in Norwalk, CT. and I can’t wait!
Have a look through their Yale University engagement session photos, leave a comment, or send me a note if you’d like to schedule your engagement session. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
I mean, come on! What is not to love about this engagement session! Beautiful people, and amazing location. What is not to love!
