Would you rather see a Picasso painting on your phone screen or at the museum? I think most of you would say in person at the museum! While I LOVE to view, post and share photos online and I’m an active user of heavy image-based social media sites like Instagram, Pinterest, Flicker, and even Facebook, there’s nothing more genuine, beautiful and experiential than a printed photo!
As a photographer, printing my own work gives me a deeper connection with the shot that I haven’t been able to replicate with any photos I’ve seen on my computer or phone screen. I think prints give you a multisensorial experience – they allow you to preserve a point in time in a way that you can see, touch and feel the image, the paper, the frame -the moment.
My connection with print has shaped our business model. At Chris Bojanovich Photography I put an emphasis on printed work whether that is an album, a piece of artwork to decorate your home, or prints to share with friends and family. When it comes to our weddings I want my brides to experience that connection, feel the textures and smell (yes! the smell of ink and freshly printed paper is gratifying!) of a brand new handmade wedding album or the matted prints of a fine art folio box.
Prints, I know for sure, will bring you back to relive those beautiful memories of your wedding day. Best of all, prints live forever!
