The day before the wedding between Sarah & Lauren at the Race Brook Lodge wedding venue in the Berkshires region of Massachusetts, I was photographing a wedding closer to home in Westchester, NY. It was one of those weddings with multiple festivities that lasted more than 12 hours! so when I got home closer to 1 AM, I started downloading the photos to my computer right away, charging my batteries, prepping my gear, and getting everything ready to drive to Massachusetts for Sarah & Lauren’s Berkshires wedding at the Race Brook Lodge.
From the moment I arrived for Sarah & Lauren’s wedding at the Race Brook Lodge, I knew this wedding was going to be very special and unforgettable. The emotions were high between these two gorgeous brides and they could not help it but laugh, smile, and just be happy during the entire day.
As it happens with most weddings, when I was about to start photographing them, they mentioned what most of the other couples say before their portraits, “We don’t know what to do in front of the camera. We are very camera shy” so I told them not to worry and said, “I will guide you and direct you throughout the entire wedding portraits session. It will be fun, relaxed and I will get you a lot of amazing images.” — And that’s exactly what happened.
We walked around the Race Brook Lodge grounds for the next hour together. We all had an incredible time finding cool places to photograph them.
If you are searching for one of Berkshire’s most unique and rustic locations, make sure you visit Race Brook Lodge just like Sarah & Lauren did. They made the trip all the way from New York City!
Thank you again, you two. You are an absolutely incredible couple, and I am very blessed to have been your wedding photographer. Thank you for being a #CBPbride!
